Script Writing: "The Sounds of Choctaw"

The Sounds of Choctaw is the Choctaw Nation's Choctaw Language Segment that was originally produced for Biskinik TV. It has since been published as its own stand-alone series. During my time with Biskinik, I wrote about 20 Sounds of Choctaw scripts. More of these to come as the Choctaw Nation publishes them on their YouTube page.

Capturing B-Roll: "Choctaw Success; Devon Abbott Mihesuah"

In June 2017, I traveled to Lawrence, Kansas, with several members of the Biskinik team and the video production team to interview University of Kansas professor and Choctaw historian Dr. Devon Abbott Mihesuah. I shot most of the B-roll that appears in this Choctaw Success segment.

Recording a Voice-Over: Choctaw Trail of Tears Bike Ride on BTV

My news director wanted me to have a diverse range of experiences while at the Biskinik. Within my first two weeks on the job, I produced this voice-over for Episode #10 of BTV. My voice-over is about the Choctaw Nation Trail of Tears Bike Ride, a commemorative biking trek that follows the path of removal that Choctaw people made during the 1830s.

Video Production: Choctaw Day 2017

I was heavily involved in the Choctaws of OU program established by the Choctaw Nation at the University of Oklahoma. To promote Choctaw culture and the program's awareness, we held a day of activities open to everyone. I took over OU's Snapchat account, took pictures and shot video. I took all of my media and pieced together this video for the Choctaws of OU 2016-2017 Banquet.
